AI engineer in Jacksonville, Florida
AI engineer who builds agents and working systems with business teams
I design, build, and run AI agents and web systems for small and mid-sized businesses. I start from the business problem, build something that works, and keep a person in the approval loop for anything that leaves the building.
Before founding FirstCoast.ai in December 2024, I spent more than twenty years building production software at Verizon, Citibank, AdTheorent, and a federal contractor.

What I build
The work sorted by what it shows. A project can appear in more than one area.
Agents with a person in the loop
Agents that triage, parse, and draft, with nothing sent or changed until a person approves it.
Related work
Evals and calibration
Deterministic checks, fixtures with known answers, and results that say exactly what was measured.
Related work
Grounded answers
Answers drawn from one curated source of truth, with gaps stated instead of guessed.
Related work
Multi-tenant platforms
One codebase serving several businesses, with each tenant's data kept separate.
Related work
Business system integrations
Agents connected to the systems a business already runs: invoicing, CRM, email, and chat approvals.
Related work
Cost control and operations
Spend limits on unattended runs, tests on every push, and a daily check that the whole path still works.
Selected work
Four short write-ups. Clients and partners are described, not named.
Approval-first agents
Agents that draft, with a person in the loop
An operating system for a small professional-services company, built around one rule: nothing leaves the building without a person's approval.
Scored audit engine
A scored audit engine with an honest "could not run"
Deterministic checks that score how ready a website is for search and AI answer engines, built so a failed check never looks like a failed site.
Multi-tenant platform
One codebase, several tenants
A self-hosted web platform that serves several businesses from a single codebase, with each tenant's data kept separate.
Grounded archive assistant
A chat assistant that answers only from the archive
An archive of a creative body of work, with a chat assistant that answers only from the record, cites what it used, and declines what the record cannot support.
